Clearwell Castle Wedding
Clearwell Castle, located in the Forest of Dean, its a venue that's fit for a King and Queen. I absolutely love this place and I can see why couples choose this venue to have their wedding. It has everything you need for your big day, in a grand way.
I must be honest I do get excited when I get an enquiry to shoot a wedding at this venue and even more excited when a couple book me for their wedding photography. Rhi was given my details back in 2017 by one of her good friends, who had actually been at two weddings I shot last year one of which was at Clearwell Castle. So it was a compliment to have a guest pass on my details and great when Rhi decided to book me for her wedding on 23 June 2018.
It was a superb day with plenty of sun and blue skies. I started the day off meeting up with Jonathan, another wedding photographer from Neath who owns and runs Cross-Jones Photography, who was helping me out through the day. This allowed me to capture the bridal preparations and Jon to capture the groom preps besides being able to capture more moments of the day.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Peter Church situated just a short walking distance away before we headed up to to the castle where family and guests were welcomed with drinks and canapes and where we remained for the remainder of the day.
The day was filled with lots of joy, cuteness, laughter, and tears. It was a superb day, one of which all family and friends will agree as I know Rhi and Dan certainly do.
Big mention also goes to the following suppliers who without their expertise the day wouldn't have been possible.
