Hi, I am Darren, and you guessed it, I am the owner of Darren Thomas Photography, a South Wales Wedding Photographer. 

When I first started photography I did a mix of work from newborn photoshoots, family, equestrian through to commercial.

After a few years I wanted to concentrate and specialise more on just one or maybe two genres. After doing a few weddings throughout South Wales, and the nerves settled down I realised how much I enjoyed them.  

 I like to think that my style of photography as unique, bold, vibrant, alternative and also creative.

During your wedding day I like capturing moments as they happen,

not just with you as a couple but also with your guests.

They also play a big part in the day from family and friends so let's not forget about them. Some comments left on my review page include,

 For me personally, one thing that I do like to do during weddings is to be creative.

Documentary 

A big part of what I love about weddings is capturing moments as they happen, no posing no false smiles just moments that we all love to see. Documentary images provide you with moments as they happen,

moments you can look back on and moments to laugh or cry at. 

So be rest assured, I will be working hard through your wedding, capturing these moments as they happen besides the few posed bride & groom and family images. 

Creative Style

One of my enjoyments of photography is being creative, coming up with ideas to provide clients with stunning images. Weddings offer me this great opportunity, working at great venues with stunning surroundings.

Throughout the day I will provide you with your documentary images as you have seen above and I will also provide you with a selection of stylish, creative and alternative wedding images.

Throughout the day I will be using using a selection of different kit to create these images which includes flash lights, stands, smoke and most importantly you!
